Having easily qualified for the group of 24 in the American Idol 2011 Contest, Robbie Rosen (16) of Merrick, almost made i t into the group of 13 finalists after 3 contestants were added by the judges, chosen from a group of 6, Mr. Rosen among them, to what was supposed to be the group of 10 finalists. Mr. Rosen may not be in the contest anymore, but he is a winner, no matter what. With the national exposure given to him by dozens of news items in dozens of newspapers, coupled with his clean smooth voice and friendly demeanor, Mr. Rosen is slated to be a success, perhaps much bigger than what was already achieved by his participation in one particular national contest.
From Bellmore to Freeport Stopping in Merrick
